Journaling: Writing out your thoughts and feelings

Tips: Write daily; keep it simple, no format required; Let it flow and write whatever comes to you; keep it private; reflect on what you wrote; meditate then journal what you experienced; and journal your dreams.

Prayer

Talking: Communicate your gratitude, acknowledge your blessings, share your thoughts, feelings, emotions, and requests, and set intentions. Instead of asking, try saying, “thank you for…” as if your prayer is already being supported, happened or answered.

Emitting: Instead of projecting words, “emit the feelings” of your blessings, gratitude, thoughts, emotions, and requests through your mind, heart and gut. Experience the feelings of the outcomes you seek as if they are already happening.

Faith of choice worship services and development opportunities

Provides a community of support, faith based worship services and classes. I attended a Spiritualist church that welcomes all religious beliefs. I enjoyed the benefits of intuition development classes with other students, monthly healing discussions and events, meditation development events and had the privilege and honor of working with an individual mentor on intuition development.

Meditation

Tips: Do it daily and try both self-meditation and guided-meditation. If you are just getting started, try a short live or recorded 5-10 minute guided-meditation. There are plentiful choices on the internet.

Using the Law of Attraction and art of Manifesting Desires

The “Law of Attraction” is the ability to attract into your life whatever you are focusing on using the power of the mind to translate what is in your thoughts and materialize them into reality. In basic terms, all thoughts turn into realities eventually. The Law of Attraction is the power within the Universe drawing comparable energies together. Manifestation is something that is put into your physical reality through thoughts, feelings, and beliefs. This means that whatever you focus on is what you are bringing into your reality. The power of creation is throughout the universe and in each one of you.

Tips:

  • Set Intentions on what you desire to attract and manifest into your life. You can do this with daily thoughts using positive affirmations and mantras, prayer, journaling, meditation or live as if it is coming into your life (feel it, see it, think it, and know it).
  • Pay gratitude for the help, support and successes.
  • Visualization: Imagine and explore your future self and desires through daydreaming and vision boards. Daydream with a plan and visualize what you want to come true using all of your senses making it as real as can be imagined. Create a vision board as a tool used to help clarify, concentrate and maintain focus on a specific life goal. The vision board displays images that represent whatever you want to be, do or have in your life.
Yoga

Yoga is a spiritual and self-discipline practice which includes breath control, simple meditation, and the adoption of specific bodily postures. It is widely practiced for health, relaxation, self-awareness, and Spiritual attunement. There are many forms of yoga; flexibility, strength, low impact, and aerobic (some yoga can provide several of the same benefits of aerobic exercise). Yoga can be both slow and fast-paced. Some types are gentle and relaxing and others intense. Yoga targets your body’s core, arms, legs, glutes, and back.

Tip: For beginners, consider using an online or in-person guided slow, low impact yoga 3 times per week.

Mindfulness

Mindfulness is a mental state of being conscious by focusing your awareness on the present moment, while calmly acknowledging and accepting yourself and your feelings, thoughts, and bodily sensations. Examples include accepting your feelings and thoughts without judgment, paying attention to your surroundings, practicing gratitude, living in the moment.

Tip: Practice mindfulness daily and journal your experiences and results.

Support Structures
  • Spiritual Transformation Partners (Spiritual BFFs): A few close friends to mutually support each other’s journeys. Partners offer accountability and encouragement, challenge one another and provide the safety of confidentiality.
  • Spiritual Support and Development Groups: A small number of people who meet regularly and are usually facilitated or led by a mentor, teacher or coach to provide guidance. They also offer accountability and encouragement, challenge one another and provide the safety of confidentiality. Some groups are open to anyone and some are closed to a finite group. They are often defined by level of development.
  • Allies: Extended group of support that may not be working on Spiritual development and transformation but agree to support you and your efforts through encouragement, act as a sounding board, or even provide physical support such as offering rides, filling in as a babysitting or becoming an exercise partner.
Be in Nature

Nature contributes to your overall Spiritual, mental, emotional, and physical well-being which supports better overall health, and in turn, supports a better intuitive capability. The healing energy of nature is a phenomenon in itself.

Tip: Meditate, then journal outdoors and note the differences between your journal entries when indoors.
