Everywhere I went in my military uniform, many people would say “thank you for your service” – most understood less than 1% of the population today actually volunteers to serve in uniform. Although not all who serve in the military are in a tip of the spear warrior role or experience a combat environment, they were all brave enough to raise their right hand and agree to put their lives on the line. The simple act of being willing to “support and defend” separates them from the rest of the herd.
So to all of the brave men and women who serve or have served in the military, as well as law enforcement and first responders, Thank You for Your Service!
I found a connection to this phrase during my Spiritual transformation studies as I came to acknowledge I was a Soul having a human experience, not just a human with a Soul. I thought, what would God say to me when I return as a Soul who was brave enough to take on a human life’s challenges? God would say, “Thank you for your service to humankind and the greater universal Divine realm. Welcome Home faithful Soul, welcome Home.”
As a Soul having a human experience, the tougher the life challenges were for me and the stronger pain, struggle and fear became – also greater was the positive impact the lessons eventually had on my life. Overcoming adversity makes us stronger. For me, overcoming intense human challenges provided the opportunity for me to transform and evolve my human life and my Soul.

Write a letter to yourself from God thanking you for being brave enough to take on the role as a Soul having a human experience, what God wished for you to learn from life’s most difficult challenges, and what God notices in you that has transformed and evolved because of the human experience.
